Scott M. Wisler

Scot Wisler is licensed to practice law in Florida, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.  Currently his primary area of practice is Social Security Disability, however, he also has practiced civil litigation, land use law, estate planning, and transactional law. He has litigated numerous cases in state court as well as federal district court.

He began his legal career in south Florida advocating for the protection and preservation of the Everglades ecosystem as a contract attorney for a nationally recognized not-for-profit law firm in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. He then continued his legal career with a small but influential general practice firm for the next two years.  During this time, he developed his passion for helping disabled workers receive their benefits.  He understands not only the intricacies of filing a disability claim, but also the emotional and financial strain placed on his clients and their families as they navigate through the process.  His compassion and knowledge has allowed Scot to become a strong advocate for disabled workers and their families.

Before obtaining his law degree, Scot and his wife, Stacey, owned several businesses in Ocean City, Maryland and Pennsylvania.  They have four wonderful children, three boys and a girl, who range in age from 11 years old to 6 years old.  Most of the family’s free time is consumed by outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and swimming.
